Customer portal so customers can follow their own case

Most calls to a workshop are not about anything new. They are about how far along you are. Each one interrupts something else, and the answer is usually the same as yesterday.

Customers get access to their case without a user account

You create a code for one specific case. The customer uses it in a browser and can follow that case without creating an account, remembering a password or getting access to the rest of Revintia.

Customers see what matters, not your internal system

Customers only see their own cases, with status, progress and messages. Other customers’ cases and your internal work areas are not visible in the portal.

Messages stay with the case

Customers can write through the portal, and the message is attached to the case. Whoever works on it next can see the conversation together with the rest of the history.

Urgent requests land on the case

If a customer marks their case as urgent in the portal, you see it on the case. That gives you one place to assess the request instead of losing it in a phone call.

What this covers

  • Access with case number and code, without an account
  • A status and history the customer can read
  • Messages that land on the case
  • An urgent request the customer can send
  • Customers only see their own cases
  • Customers can approve quotes in the portal

Frequently asked questions

Can the customer see our other cases?

Not other customers’ cases. A code made on the case covers only that case, while the code in the confirmation email covers all of that customer’s own cases. The rest of your system is never visible.

What if the customer loses the code?

You can make a new code on the case and send the customer the link. It switches off the case’s previous code, but a code from the confirmation email keeps working until it expires.

Does the customer have to install anything?

No. The portal opens in an ordinary browser on a phone or a computer.

Can we choose which cases the customer gets access to?

Yes, through the contact person. The code belongs to the contact person on the case and opens only the open cases on which that contact is named. Another contact at the same customer does not see those cases. From the case you can send the code again, create a new code or close the access.
